I'm only even able to own a computer because i got extremely lucky throughout my life
I grew up poor, but now i'm relieved to make 200 dollars a month which might not sound like alot but it's more income than 95% of the world population, starvation is still rampant and people have longer workloads than medieval peasants did

We are not in the "easiest time in history", and even if we were, it would still not necessarily be the "best time in history" considering we're becoming consumeristic, depressed cattle with discoveries of harsh truths shaving off any sense of meaning or purpose in our lives that made medieval peasants able to appreciate theirs, just that the people who suffer the most from the shittiness of our time either don't have the means to speak cause they're poor, or are expected to "suck it up" because they are sold the myth of progress that people in the past always had these horrendous conditions, when in reality most people are still just as if not even unhappier and more overworked than peasants were
