Can we get a discussion about Blindsight by Peter Watts ?

Loved the book but it's one of those that I'm going to have to read again to fully appreciate. My only problem was that sometimes it was difficult to understand was going on in the actions scenes.


Lets start off with a couple of questions: Are the scramblers Rorschach or is he different being? Their collective perhaps?

Why does Rorschach see as the Theseus as a threat and tries to destroy it? Why didn't he as soon as he had the chance instead of allowing the crew to board?
