i did kuk sool won (korean martial art) for some years, if you're in the states definitely try that. It always had a focus on imbuing the whole korean culture into the student, not just the martial art. Maybe youll even find an instructor who is korean himself. Fuck i wish something like that existed for my ethnic background (west african), which im similarly alienated of.
