I'm reading the first book, Prelude to Foundation. So far, I'm not impressed.

POSSIBLE MINOR SPOILER

I haven't finished the first book yet, but I find it odd how Seldon willing follows Chetters to the University without solid proof that the empire has targeted him. I think this is weak writing. Will it be explained later in the book? Hopefully.
