Well i think most young people who read would rather purchase a book and read it at home. Most books are not that expensive and you'd get to read it in the comfort of your own home. Now that libraries are not commonly frequented during childhood very few people would find them appealing. I also imagine that the common young reader are more introverted and socially awkward (if you buy into to that) so it would make sense that not going out to read would be preferable alternative to libraries. Also there are simply too many things you can do at home to pass time like vidya, browsing the internet, movies, TV shows, anime ect, giving very little incentive to kill time at a library But also Niggers
