I liked how, based on the timeline, his boss had to have assumed ahead of time that Gregor was going to be late, in order to show up when he did at their home.

I usually read mostly non-fiction so I'v decided to try to read at least 12 novels this year. Here is my list so far, can you recommend what else should I add:

The Stranger, Camus
Stoner, Williams
1984, Orwell
Lonesome Dove, McMurty
Notes from Underground, Dostoyevsky
Anna Karenina, Tolstoy
To The Lighthouse, Woolf

These

Because there is nothing that can match cuddling up with a thick blanket, a thicker book and a nice warm cup of rooibos.

Because there are few nostalgic sensations quite like the smell of a book, the feel of pages beneath your fingers and that subtle feeling of accomplishment when you see your bookmark a few hundred pages further than it was last week.

Because after I'm done reading I have a physical embodiment of the adventure in my home, faintly reliving it every time I glance over at the worn cover.

T B H I do it because I've always done it, because I enjoy doing it and because I can afford to.
