/lit/ - Literature

It's his most basic novel. Basic in terms of it's structurally a simple romance story. I wouldn't consider it a good intro to murakami because most of his other works have alot of fantastical elements to them.
I've read t murakami novels and Norwegian wood is my favorite by far

I've never read any literature about war before Matterhorn and I actually really enjoy it. I got it at a thrift store for 2 bucks and I'm enjoying how authentic the dialogue feels as well as the descriptions. Can someone suggest more war lit ??? I'm not even sure if Matterhorn is even considered like top tier war lit but I dig it lol

Visiting nyc went to some thrift store in astoria to check some stuff out and they were selling hardcovers for 2.50 and soft covers for 1.50. I picked up some book called Matterhorn. I've never heard of it but it was one of the only hardcovers in good condition and norton anthology of short fiction for 1.50
