He talks about the prevailing attitudes towards theory, practice and praxis and how groups - e.g. antifa - prefer just to go for the latter without giving the former a thought. For Adorno, theory - i.e. thinking - has a privileged position as it engages directly with the general, as opposed to the particular. Hence, it can provide a way out of the mediated society we live in, that is, true happiness. He ends with the quote "such thought is happiness, even where unhappiness prevails; thought achieves happiness in the expression of unhapiness."
