Hey /lit/, just picked up pic related and I'm interested in reading a few more books about classical/art/whatever music over the summer. Can anyone make some recommendations? I'm probably gonna pick up something by Alex Ross (either his essay collection or the Rest is Noise), but outside of that I know nothing about music writing. I'm especially interested in medieval music, so if anyone knows shit about that, that'd be cool.
