A lot of you seem to be all in on certain ideologies, authors, aesthetics etc (Stirner, Greeks, modernism, metamodernism)

Personally, I 100% went in for Marxism. Now I can only ever do marxist, neo-marxist, or post-marxist (like Althusser or Jameson) readings of any and every piece of literature and media. Is this okay? I can't help but tend towards really orthodox readings, like Kautsky level stuff. Where I'll dismiss entire ideologies as just, ideologies that maintain the relations of production. If not that, I can wipe away almost any piece of media or literature with the comment 'it was bourgeois'. and I mean i really think it is.

How far does this rabbit hole go? I'm fucking trapped.

Am I the only one on /lit who doesn't write and has no aspirations to? I had pretty high marks in school when it came to writing but I harbour no illusions about the value of whatever my mind excretes. Are you guys all so talented or what?
