I just finished The New York Trilogy and enjoyed it. It's three novellas fit into 300 pages so Auster manages to get the pomo weirdness in without making giant tomes.
He's obviously not maximalist but maintains the disjointed narrative and metatextual aspects. The protagonists frequently suspect that they're parts of stories, have their first-person narration intersect with the voice of the author himself, lose their grip on reality, etc. Overall a good book.
