this term is a little bit confusing but it's not about actual sciences like biology or technological research but more about the method. scientific socialism wants to achieve its goal through pragmatic and scientific means and its goal isn't a place were everyone drives porsches and eats wagyu and the means of achieving it aren't carrying candles and singing shanties and creating memes.
