1 in a hundred people are psychopaths. It's quite a high number. They're charming, above average intelligence, have a liimited capacity for empathy and no conscience. Not all are serial killers obviously.

A lot of serial killers can be thought of as fetishists, extreme sadists. Kind of like those guys who get off on balloons or cars.

So has everyone here read everything else by sallinger or are you all just phonies who want one more ebook to add to your terabyte of unread lit.

If you CANT handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell DONT deserve me at my BeST!

Don't you hate this quote, /lit/, what does it even mean? Just sums up women's narcissism right. Makes me rage that women think this way and somehow still get laid, and I'm on /lit/ right now, penis flaccid.

I'm now reading the Concept of Anxiety and have to say I'm really disappointed. Everything is overly dogmatic and based on christianity. Some concepts are weird like that shame is always linked to sexuality or just outdated like that women appreciate beauty more than men.

It's pretty well written and all, but everything in this book is so outdated and anxiety is much better explained now from a cultural and darwinian point of view that I'm thinking of stopping reading, I've read half so far.

What do you think about this book or Kierkegaard in general? Are his other books more relevant today?
