NHK was a great animu. People hate the ending, but I think it was brilliant. Satou had all those heroic phantasies, but in the end his suicide didn't work, which was his final attempt at at doing something extreme, something that in his mind would elevate his life. And then in the end he became a traffic officer, very mundane job.The contrast between his delusions of grandeur and the boring, mundane and harsh, but only harsh in a boring way, reality.
