Especially among modern conservatives. Why do they think Derida or Focault are at fault for literally anything? What is the connection?

I want to look into the post structuralist and semiotics and was wondering where's a good place to start with the likes of derrida, levi-strauss, and Lacan? I've already read some foucault and taking my time with wittgenstein.
