Read the abridged Decline of the West. The unabridged version is 900 pages of German metaphysics, most of which isn't terribly relevant.

How does the abridged version of Decline of the West compare to the full book? I want to get other people to read Spengler but the unabridged set is so long and inaccessible that it's hard to recommend. Does the abridged one do it justice?
