This is merely an extension of the beta-male driven misconception that women possess any intellectual or emotional depth whatsoever. Women stop developing in adolescence, and anyone that honestly confronts female nature will inevitably come to the conclusion that women are akin to children with the agency and freedom of adults.
To write a convincing female character, all you need to do is write a child with the language abilities of an adult and make sure to specify that the character is a woman.
