I saw a few days ago that thread asking for a Conservative socialism chart.

Seems like everyone disagreed on what that meant.

So I think what we need is a chart that doesn’t necessarily promote socialism in the vein of Marx, but a chart for people who believe in socially conservative traditions like families and religion, and believe government policies should reflect that, instead of claiming free market capitalism will do the job.

I do agree though that Lasch I think is a good place to start.

I think we should create a Conservative Socialism chart. I think it’s becoming a new movement.

What it is:
>Socialism that wishes to uphold traditions like family and community that predate capitalism.
>Okay with nationalism and religion when it is not violent.
>Is NOT fascism or national socialism.
>Promotes labor unions as communities that protects workers.
>Welfare State, but doesn’t involve too much in family life. Doesn’t seek to replace family bureaucracy.

Lasch is probably the best example I can think of now.

>You even idealize the mere thought of touching yourself.
No retard, I idealize the joy that comes of getting lost in the act of reveling in ones desire, playing with the tension, the great forgetting of all but the potentiation of lust and desire. I can accomplish this without touching myself, and I often do.
