Coleridge wrote some absolute bangers but the trouble is he quit poetry to become a literary critic and philosopher, and he wasn't particularly good at the latter. His takes on Shakespeare are neat, though.

Fun fact: Coleridge became a hardcore opium junkie and became severely constipated as a result, requiring terrible, humiliating enemas.

Thanks. I'm actually branching out into narrative poetry some, inspired by a class on the Romantics I took last semester at graduate school. I'm not sure where you get narrative poetry published in this day and age, though.
