/lit/ - Literature

This is your chance to recommend absolutely anything to the masses on /lit/. Doesn't have to be one book, can be as many or as few as you wish.

I'll start.

If you're looking for a summer read that offers a great story without unnecessary complications, as in an 'easy read', then I highly recommend The Beach (as per picture). You've probably all seen the movie, but even if you have, it's not a problem. I read it after watching the movie, and still found it a worthwhile read.

I also recommended it, as I thought I'd bring something a bit different to the table, as it's quite a habit of the users of /lit/ to talk about the same books/stories.
