ITT: We ask other /lit/fags for advice because we don't really respect the opinions of people we know in real life.

My cool story:
>graduated last year with a bachelors in economics
>got a full time job selling life insurance
>it's not that bad apart from being very tedious and repetitive - the people I work with are great, the company benefits/pay is decent
>can see a fairly easy pathway into financial advising within a few years

On the other hand, I kind of want to go back to study and give grad school a go (2 years research masters in economics). However the idea of not having a clear vision on where to go after that kinda scares me.

What should I do /lit/? I was thinking of just flipping a coin but maybe you guys have some wisdom to share when it comes to huge life decisions.

Also, feel free to post your own dilemma and other anons will try help.

Hi /lit/,

Any of you in grad school (or have gone through already)?

I recently finished my undergrad and am currently "looking for work" but I don't really want to work (cause I'm a lazy entitled gen Y etc.) and think grad school might be at least better than sitting around doing nothing which I have been the past few months.

However I feel like I'd be going there for the wrong reasons - unlike other people who probably go in for better job prospects or because they're really passionate about the field, neither of which really apply to me. I wouldn't say I'm apathetic towards the field though, I find it interesting and I'd probably place myself roughly somewhere in between apathy and true passion if we were going to use an arbitrary measurement.

Anyway, any advice/opinions? I don't really have anyone IRL I can talk to about this, my family don't really care either way.
