Christopher Paolini is one of those guys that gets more shitty with every year.

While his First book, eragon was ok, especially for something written by a 16 yo, rest of his books were just fucking abominations.
I only went over them since i had them in audiobook form when i was visiting my grandmother, for a week and she lives in middle of a forest.

But fuck me every one of the 4 menages to be worse than the previous one.

All his problems he sums up in an interview on the third book. "i didnt read any books in 2 years"
Yeah, i guess once you are good you have nothing to learn, what a faggot.

Is Eragon any good to read?

Do you like hating on Inheritance? I sure do, or did, mostly. All the negative analysis, commentaries and parodies of it I've read and laughed with probably amount to more length than the entire series. And I loved every second of that smug feeling of literary superiority.

What's you thoughts on this book?

I've just finished reading the series (up to the 3rd book atm) and I'm not really sure what to think.

On one hand the language is smooth and rich, but the storyline seems to slope down as it progresses and ends up being a "wait and bait" fantasy coming-of-age story.

Did you think it was good/bad? Excited for the last book?

Rewrite it about 700 times. Then look up every major publisher, every minor imprint of every major publisher, every minor publisher, every wildly obscure "back of a van" publisher, and send it to all of them in whatever format they require for submissions.

Wade through rejection letters (YES, EVEN IF IT'S GEWD). If there's a request for MOAR, send MOAR, receive rejection letter.

Rewrite 5,000 more times.

Repeat submission process, rewrites, rejection, rewrites, submissions, follow-ups, rejections, rewrites, etc, UNTIL YOU WIN!!
