Might be a weird request, but I trust /lit/.
I want a book about men that have created history. I don't mean autobiographies of them, I need a thorough examination on what common foundation men who have created history possess that propelled them to create history.

Till now, I just found one book that lightly matches the description: On Heroes, Hero-Worship by Thomas Carlyle.

Are you aware of any other book?
