You think to yourself "yeah, this is an obvious parallel". But then you research ancient history and you quickly find out that it's actually a far more complete and obvious parallel than you could have possibly imagined. Only much gayer this time around.
The good news is that what will come after us will be still more degraded and hopeless. Enjoy the dignity we still have. None that come after us will ever have more.

Don't blame OP, blame the jannies who just genuinely don't care. Tons of /his/ tier threads up all the time.

This is true, but it doesn't solve the problem of loneliness and existential isolation. Having to watch people act like soulless cattle is already crushing enough, even if it makes the world a lot more comprehensible.

>She was hot and initiated it.
Uh oh, red flag. Did a woman really usurp the active principle in her relationship with you, or do you mean instead that you wu wei'd her into becoming attracted? You sure you didn't become the Sun to her Moon? Are you absolutely convinced that you didn't use the centrality of your Shiva to draw her Shakti into union with you? Are you truly certain that your transcendent verticle principle did not exercise an occult magnetism that caused its eventually unification with her immanent horizontal principle? Because if you didn't do any of those things and allowed Two to take primacy over One... that's kinda cvcked, bro!

I am not afraid of death.
I am afraid of life.
The idea that there is nothing meaningful or worthwhile for me to do is crushing, because I want to do something down here, to prove my worth. But what is there to prove, who is there to prove myself before, in this utterly vapid and superficial world?
Fate is such a funny thing.

>Somebody wrote a well-researched, comprehensive criticism of Costin Alamariu's dissertation, shredded his arguments to pieces, one by one
Anon... this isn't hard. He argues that Plato is a Nietzschean. It's a stupid position. BTW you ARE allowed to argue stupid things in your dissertation, and can even receive very high marks on that.
