This book called Nihilism by Seraphim Rose and the Bible.

Honestly. I don't blame you for being this way, as much as people can go all boomer and say (Well get up on your bootstraps bucko!!). Well, I didn't want to be raised in a post-truth Fukiyama hellscape where everything was sincere including religion, the family, etc. has been destroyed and we're somehow supposed to pick up the pieces of this mess. Not to mention the hordes of mindless nu-males and basketcase women which we have to deal with every day. Our society has been stripped, for centuries, of our real identity and our purpose.

Well, this book helps with understanding that. Before anyone gets excited its a refutation of nihilism and a diagnosis of the historical events that lead to the collapse of western society and the revolutionary ideologies (leftism, feminism, poststructuralism) which dominate us. It helped me immensely as I left secularism towards Orthodoxy. That being said, I'm not an angel but I understand my place and that my destiny and existence is not under my authority but from something above.
