The only reason I got into reading as a kid.

It took JK Rowling five years to write the first Harry Potter book, and to build the world and plan for the rest of the series.

How long have you spent writing a book? How much time have you dedicated to building a wonderous fictional world? (or the opposite).

It would have been logical for to retire so as not to risk sullying her fans' childhood opinion of her and be remembered as a shit author who only became popular through chance and timing, but she seems confident enough to do something new even after making billions. The synopsis seems like it might have potential, but a little cliché.
