Lurk more? Actually, don't bother. This place is awful. By far the worst board. Here's a quick list:
>"Russian classics" i.e just Dostoyevski's work as well as War and Peace and maybe Anna Karenina
>Greek classics by which we mean just the Iliad and maybe the odyssey.
>Philosophy
Remember to never read carefully, and before you skim through each of these works go on wikipedia so you know what main takeaways you should be looking for.
1. "Start with the greeks" by which they mean read Plato's Republic, and maybe Aristotle
2. Read Kant's Wikipedia article
3. Read up on Hagel (never actually read him) and read the communist manifesto and pretend that you've read Das Kapital
4. Read Nietzsche but only once and never with care
4. Read the faggy frenchmen like Foucault and Deleuze
5. Some fascists like Evola
6. Zizec, J.P and
>Literature
Don't bother. Whenever you see a name just google it and pretend you've read whichever novel of his is mentioned first

There's a trilogy of YA novels called 'His Dark Materials' by Philip Pullman. The first is Northern Lights or The Golden Compass as it's called in the U.S. They're charming novels and a very fun read even as an adult.
