Just finished reading voyage, loved it like no other. Wanna read more from him. Im guessing death on credit is appropriate as follow-up. Where do I go from there? Considering I wanna read all of his books (excluding the pamphlets).

This book was Catcher in the Rye before Catcher in the Rye existed. Also this is more edgy, if that matters to you.

Is this worth reading in English translation or is too much of it lost? What is the best translation?

Have any of you read this? I picked it up after reading that it inspired a lot of authors, for example Joseph Heller in the writing of Catch 22.I thought it was pretty good and was wondering if anyone would like to discuss it.

Getting bored with Celine's Journey to the End of the Night. It's regarded as a good book so I set out to read it, but after the war part, his adventures in africa and the US, it just got boring. More than half way done and considering dropping it.
