Many writers throughout history supported themselves by working in an unrelated field. Anon is right, there are many “business” jobs out there. In some regions, they cannot find enough good help. Take it from me, you can do just fine with a liberal arts degree in this field. Try your hand at inside sales or purchasing.

If you are not ready to be a wagecuck, work abroad as an English teacher. There are countless programs in Europe and Asia. You will add to your resume by doing a professional job instead of languishing in modern day serfdom. This will also allow you to travel, meet new people, experience another culture, and grow as an individual. Spending an extended period of time in a place will change your outlook. I would personally recommend somewhere provincial, away from the corroding atmosphere of the city.

If you are lucky, you will meet a local, who being a provincial, is not corrupted like most of our generation here in the West. Finding a partner will change everything, thus putting you on a better track for the future.

This is not an illusory path. Never lose your attachment to learning, but don’t allow this attachment to tear you away from life.

Imagine having a bookshelf with hundreds of autobiographic books all written by your ancestors.

This cannot easily be done. Though some have tried with the help of expensive private tutors, private groups of like-minded people to chat in Latin with, and specialized latin-speaking tours of Europe.

I'd consider getting the book 'Familia Romana' by Orberg.
It will be difficult, but at least you'll learn some Latin through exposure.
