Are there any good books that explore the simulation hypothesis from a philosophical standpoint (not a scientific one)?

What do I need to read before starting with pic related?
I read his book “America” and he references Nietzsche, Sartre and uses Deleuzian terminology.

Is he wrong ? Truth is relative. Reality depends on how a person interprets it. Postmodern society is a combination of conflicting hyper realities and simulations. Even science is quite relative. Yes there is hard science like math but at the end of the day as we see with covid 19, everyone interprets it the way he likes, there are scientists who are pro isolation and others who are pro herd immunity.

What's the point of this garbage? Seriously what is attempting to be accomplished here? Where are the new useful ideas? Also why is all modern "philosophy" like this?

Books on alienation and depersonalization caused by the Internet? Something that builds on the ideas of Baudrillard and games like Deus Ex and MGS2 with what we know now.

Why aren't more writers and philosophers focusing on this. Everyone with a 3 digit IQ knows this instinctively yet so few write about it
