Just finished 1Q84. Haven't ready any of Murakami's other novels, just the short story collection. I liked that.
But 1Q84...um, what? It was interesting to read, like watching a multi-car pile-up slowly grow, idiot driver by idiot driver. And in the end, there's nothing left but a mess.
I want to re-read Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman again, see if that's as good as I remember.
