If you look at the world to be inspired, stop thinking everything is arbitrary gobbledygook while also indulging in just that from another source, it stunts your originality, a mirror is a symbol, a cultural icon, so is the bingo hall, ski masks, barbells, sunglasses, a burning car, a rain soaked shirt, all these things have profound symbolic meaning even without their context, and it hurts to know that there are people out there who dont look at the world like this, who dont sense these things instinctively when seeing a car drive by, or a man walking his dog, its so very distressing; eyes, necklaces, lipstick, curtains, lightbulbs -- please learn how to think anew, think of object - ritual - setting about EVERYTHING and you will know what it means for something to be iconic, you will wield symbols and be able to makeshift them into new beauty
