I sincerely believe his intention was to envisage a dystopian utopia, not unlike Huxley's Brave New World. It's utopian in that it achieves efficiency, stability, and harmony, but dystopian in that it produces a disturbing outcome antithetical to any conventional notion of humanity we've come to appreciate.

Certain cultures are just plainly superior to others which correlates pretty much perfectly with nationality. To believe that "nationalism is a disease" would necessitate a denial of these obvious facts. Whoever holds this position is either lying to themselves or just hasn't really thought it through.

The entirety of this tedious dialogue was predicated upon a completely unsubstantiated notion inexplicably taken at face value to be axiomatic. Might as well have been a discussion about the tensile strength of the horn of a unicorn.
