stop reading there are better things that will make you better off (that, coincidentally, get you off)

Hey /lit/, I need a bit of help. One of my coworkers constantly praises me for reading on my breaks and wishes she was able to read so quickly and understand what she's reading. I want to get her a book that would help give her the right nudge, but I don't really know what to suggest as a starter book for a Lebanese woman in her 50s (definitely milf-tier tho) who is still learning English. She comes off as very intelligent, but given the circumstances of her life never really got into it. What books would you recommend to such a person as a gift?
