>Why yes, I have been possessed by a memetic pandemic unleashed on the internet in the early 90's that has evolved into a culture of mutually reinforcing delusion and psychological control.

While too conceptual to be of any transformative value to the public at large, this idea goes to the heart of today’s viral efforts, and is certainly understood by those who consider themselves soldiers in the meme wars. Biological viruses are only successful when they are able to turn their host cells into manufacturing plants for more viruses. The virus interpolates its genetic material into the DNA code of the cell, so that the cell will begin reproducing the virus. Eventually the cell divides or explodes, releasing many copies of the infected code. This is how a whole organism can become infected with a single virus; the code has iterated millions of times. The strategy of these Internet viral manifestos is to use the iterative potential of the computer nets to spread memes about viruses housed within units that are themselves viruses. The virus 23 strain even makes reference to chaos math and the predictions of some fractal influenced observers that the world itself will reach a critical mathematical moment of “singularity” near the turn of the millennium. The virus writer exploits a chaotic device—the computer-generated media virus—to spread the conceptual and spiritual implications of chaos mathematics.
Written in 1996. Sounds scarily relevant now, doesn't it?

Memetics is an organicist paradigm, also left anarchist memetics preemptively won the Meme Wars. Source for the image: https://pastebin.com/4s91qRn6 This was written in 1996:

That isn't where the story starts, Anon. It started long before: in chaos. The CCRU were merely describing what had already been done, and were describing retrospectively, not proactively.

>The Whiteheadean scheme is a work of politeness because it seeks to be "adequate," refraining from insulting any living value. Yet if it is effective, it owes this to its fabrication, to the articulation of constraints that oblige thought, an "asignificant" matrix whose truth is the events of "disclosure" it may induce, modifying a being's relations to its environment, and in this case, the relations of a statement to its consequences. Whitehead made coherence the vector of this efficacy, and it is coherence that demanded the twofold production of Whitehead as speculative thinker and of that strange object, the speculative scheme. Whitehead fabricated this scheme in order that the scheme might fabricate him, that it might oblige him to undergo the becomings of thought demanded by coherence.

Forming a "web of related conversations and stories" is the praxis of the modern hyperstitional web developer, after all.

Mine isn't a "stance," it's a movement. A recursively self-improving movement of mutually improving human relationships: memetic singularity.

"Novel ideas" aren't important. What is important are novel experiments. All social media platforms, including 4chan and forums, are platforms of social experimentation.

The greatest experiment of all time is about to come to a conclusion, and it will see all the internet trolls either killing themselves as all the hate they projected turns in on themselves absolutely, or quitting the internet forever.

This story naturally involves "weird memetics" and cultural virality: https://pastebin.com/4s91qRn6
