Thank you very much for the feedback. Yeah, they probably read exactly like the translated versions. I'm not quite good enough at Japanese yet to read his work. Can you explain the lack of fluidity a little more? If there's a problem in my writing style I'd like to address it. I do have a tendency to write too formally and it comes off as stiff; I can only ever beat it down after a few rounds of revisions. I'd like my writing to be more smooth and elegant. Is that what you mean by fluidity, or is it a different problem?
And the coffee diary sounds interesting. Do you write in English or (I guess) Japanese?
>hot tub
Rather not dox myself. Long story short, when choosing an apartment I had two choices, the regular hobo-alley apartments with no amenities at all, or, since they were on promotion sale, the new "luxury" apartments with a pool and hot tub and all in the community center. It came out to the same price. But don't be impressed--I have the smallest apartment in the complex with the worst location. It was very pleasant yesterday, though. I felt like one of those onsen monkeys in winter.
