Hello /lit/ I come to you with a question
I've been writing poetry for almost 1 1/2 years and I want to do something with it.
I upload it to my facebook and people like it, but I can't get any decent feedback to improve my work.
Do you guys know of any poetry sites that have a good community?
I have done a quick search for poetry forums, though I'd like to see what you guys say before I pick a random site.

Hey /lit/
I am curious how many of you have written/write poetry. If so feel free to post. I would really enjoy reading some, considering how diverse this board is.

yesterday i went to /soc/ and asked them to read poetry for me.

welcome is everything remotely lit-related (and nearly everything is lit-related)! feel free to request or publish your own ideas, read or quote stuff, sing or just express your thoughts.

Howdy, /lit/, I was hoping for some help getting inspiration for lyrics. Could you guys share some really left-of-field poetry?

Do share your thoughts please. Literally the first poem I've written when I know how poems work.

With proper laugh, and a worried smile,
Your cautious mind did break for me.
Though all alone I wait for a while,
My happiness is mine to see.
Secured by wondrous thoughts of love
My Heart is chained to your fair view;
A distant cry comes a waning dove
On your moon, I wait for the new.
Clothed in fear, yet warmed by wish
For me, upon your soon return.
And desperate calls from bird to fish
With naught but patience and grace to learn
Till summers’ end come, and winter fail
A black heart I hold, await your sail.

Hello /lit/,
I hardly ever read poetry, so I'd like to change that.

Any entry level poets or poetry books you could recommend me? Any of your personal favorites that could be a good start?

Thanks
