1. Stop the practice of grouping kids together by age. Age doesn't mean shit. Kids have been grouped together for education based on their age since the early 20th century primarily for socialization. Instead, we should be grouping them together by ability. That means smart kids go to a smart class and dumb fucks go to a class with other dumb fucks.

2. Implement a new national IQ testing system, headed by an independent, non-federally sanctioned board of education. The test should be well rounded in terms of subject matter and less biased than the current IQ test. Test results should be the basis of class determination. Good students will strive to be in a higher class, shitty students will do the same.

3. When kids stop getting separated by age and start getting grouped together by ability, it will create a social rift. That rift may reduce bullying, reduce racial tension, especially if they are physically separated.

4. Give students a realistic third and fourth option for HS and post-HS learning such as trade schools, apprenticeships and other work experience. Set these up with local businesses, similar to how our community college system is currently working.

None of this will ever happen for two reasons:

1. The money raked in by education is staggering, enough so that reform will likely not happen in our lifetime. Admitting that the system is broke means admitting that it needs to be gutted and replaced.

2. Rich assholes with fat little rich kids don't want reform because reform means that their little duck face angel will get ranked by ability instead of ranked by privilege and access to resources. Ranking means having clearly defined winners and losers, and the rich fat fucks can't have that.

The Silence of the Lambs. Never saw the movie so it's all new to me. Just started last night. It's pretty awesome so far.
