>He only added Freud
Despite hving a last called Jiddish and Hebrew for themselves containing 26 authors, he also added others everywhere. Just as an example I counted the know People of jewish ethnicity in the rubric "The United Staates" which contains 160 people, 25 of which are jewish. Making every sixth person to be of his own ethnic. Jews measure between 1.2-2.6% of the american population. On his lists they make up around 16%. Mind you, this list is called described as the american one, with a distinction for the jeish ethnic in two whole categories for themelves.

While looking them all up, I was also urprised how many of them were from NY and Harvard, winning the same prizes and having the same friends. Which again is a selection for people patching a certain view, as all thing dependant on peer pressure. Not even listing the amount of spoken out homosexuals and those advocating similar ideologies.

Blooms list is not western, it's post-modern and subversive. He took a hand of classics and put a bunch of authors and books with his own motivs into it.

You're naive if you think it's something to consider objective or per se western.

Honestly, this list is shit because you can'T just read Herodotus without understanding his zeitgeist and that of the stories he tells.
>dude show his buddy a sneak peak of his wife
>wife makes buddy kill husband
>buddy becomes her new hubby and king
Without the context and knowing something about the kind of society this took place, it will seem retarded. Just liek you should know about the richat structure to appreciate the mapping of Atlantis by him.

Same goes for everything else in there. Not even the bible is usefull without context.

Best OP could do is to find his feld of interest and read through the wole field. This naturally will bring him to the next topic on hand, especially if he keeps an eye open for important topics.

tl:dr: Pleb detected.
