Sup /lit/, /fit/ here.

Had some required reading for high school (I'm a senior), so I torrented the audiobook and listened to it while I picked things up and put them down. I found it a really awesome experience way better than just listening to music.

Thing is, my bookwormness got bullied out of me in middle school (;-;) and I have no idea where to start. I'd like some long books but not just wordy books, books packed with content that just go on a while. Or series.

What do you suggest, /lit/?

I know enough about media-specific boards to get how pleb this sounds, and I apologize.
