What do you think about Sartre?

I'm considering writing an essay on him (focusing on Being and Nothingness) but I'm not sure if he is ''worth'' the trouble.

Where is consciousness located and what is it?

Is it a certain brain pattern always there?

What if every time you wake up, your brain is just spooling up a new instance of your consciousness? Your memories, your behavior, your personality are just whispers from your brain, but *you*, you're just today's version of you.

If someone is dead for 15 minutes but resuscitated is his consciousness restored or did his brain generate a new consciousness that thinks it's the same because it has the same memories?

I don't even know what kind of answer would be preferable.

With regards to Existence preceding essence,
how is it possible to create meaning where meaning inherently does not exist?
How does something come out of its opposite?

Or is it that meaning exist in things in a way that isnt necessarily knowable or clearly visible to people?

Does Sartre's existentialism stand without free will?

Sartre's fanbase/fanboys are the worst.
Sartre is a gateway philosopher of the worst kind. He's a bad cartesian, a clusterfuck of ideas and argumentation that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive faggotry and DARKNESS. The normal anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the Ideas itself, regardless of their opinion, are plain bad.

Sartre is basically THE philosopher to attract the most hated fanbase known to /lit/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this "existentialism" and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Sartre threads ever encourage the newfriends to show their faces here.
