>I'm too visual for this medium, literature is not my passion, it's a tool I need.
Then hire a writer you stupid shit.

I try to write 1000 words with each writing session, twice a day if I can. Sometimes I go over that goal.
My main goal is 10,000 new words a week, but don't slack on the editing.

If I don't have to work.
give it a few hours when I first wake up.
Take a break. Play some games, do chores, eat, whatever.
Around noon give it a few more hours, then fuck around until it's time for bed.
While in bed read over what I've written that day, make small changes, and maybe write a little more until I'm ready to sleep.

This is the ultimate way to do.

If I do have to work.
Wake up, work, think about writing all day, sit down to write when I get home and force some words out. Sometimes I don't have it in me.

Fuck capitalism.

Even a suicide couldn't get people to trudge through this garbage.
Kill yourself and leave a videotape behind instead. Your family has suffered enough, please do them that one kindness.

How many books have you written?
I will not disclose the exact number on here but I am in the double digits.
8 hours in the writing room every day.
That might be a lie though.
I will leave it to the viewers at home to decide.

Then when you get further into the story and realize those pages have become irrelevant or need to be rewritten you will not have the willpower to kill your babies and stop moving forward all together.
You are living your life incorrectly.

No proofreading, or rape?
Just what ARE you selling, sir?

Rough draft, just keep the words flowing.
Good writers are good editors.
You can do it the other way around, but you'll never finish anything.

If I pay extra, can it be both?

Either way, I can voucher for this anon.

Never been a part of a "writing group" but my guess it's usually going to be a bunch of cringe wannabes. Seems like a pretty cringe thing to want to be a part of anyway.
Having a couple writing-chan friends to bounce ideas off of individually works though.

I've tried that.
Doesn't work for me.
Put on an instrumental soundtrack and keep going until I have 1000 words.
Take a break.
Do it again.

If you think "go sit around in coffee shops and eavesdrop on people like a creepy perv" is better advice than what I gave you need to stfu.

Adding to my thoughts on AI.
When I'm stuck on something it's usually because I have a general sense of where I want to go but it feels like something's missing, or it needs a little extra spice. Sometimes AI provides that and gets me moving in the right direction. What does an even better job at providing that, however, are other human beings. But, getting someone to read your WIP and give descent feedback isn't always available, so in those cases lonely writing fags will probably find AI useful, after becoming familiar with what it can and can not do.

You're over thinking it.
Just write.
There is no secret, and if there is any secret it is to just get words down consistently every day. Newbies don't like to hear that for some reason. They seem to think there is some secret method they need to discover first.
