In the Bible, it said he killed the other Gods

Checkmate Christianity

It makes sense he would have created them to help create certain things, if you think about it, but they don't get any more credit than the ass fertilizing the lawn

The holy books of old religions are usually pretty good. Most of them go into the idea of thought itself which gets pretty radical

Something about communism or anything that related to capitalism, really just something not about a monarchy. IIRC Plato asserted that the best government was run by a king, so anything with multiple tiers of representatives should work.

I'd pick something by Mao, Marx, etc.

How dare you imply that? You should really ask for more involvement from Him if you don't believe He is already involved, it should show you how wrong you are and if you're right, it won't matter, right?

WOAH hold it right there, he tells prophets several times to write stuff down (specifically in Revelations it's very obvious)

The entire Bible is very carefully selected holy works, not just inspired by but transcribing the very word of God

Plato's Republic, right? I haven't read it but Dialogues is okay so far (chapter three deep)

Biblically, God cause Himself, if I remember right. He is not given an origin story because he is the origin, but it is assumed that he also created Himself with everything

Jung was really bad at writing btw. He uses run on sentences for like, every single sentence. He also has a hard time actually getting his ideas across.

I love (Plato's) Socrates' idea that a good idea should be able to be expressed in one sentence. That means it was easy to understand and full of knowledge, to assume you need an entire book to get across one singular idea is kind of ridiculous.

Check out David Bowie...

He seemed to take lyricism above just rhyming and tune-making, but still turned his songs into amazing hits

I am of the belief they can be just as good

lmfao

I always thought books felt better and didn't read much anyways but you might save money... maybe always buy legit? You had to have used some ILLEGAL ones right?

Taoism is really pretty good but there's not many central themes, really

The first book I read that I actually liked was The Fires of Merlin (I think... the third entry in the series regardless) by T.A. Barron. I tried going back and reading the series later and was put off by it, but it really made me realize reading can be entertaining enough for me to do it in my off time

More like confirmation bias...

BUT reading some good esotericism is actually very good for developing your own thought processes. You start to see patterns in intellectual thinking that help you frame your writing
