I hate Seth Godin for having the same last name as me. Everytime I Google myself for fun, this bald headed fuck pops up.

I think it stems from when I read a lot at my nanna's house as a kid, but she didn't have cable or internets, so I always just read at her house. And no matter what time of day it was, she always had jazz music on. So I usually just put some jazz music on when I read. I can read without it, I just find it easier to read with jazz music playing.

There once was a thread on /lit/
To which nobody gave a shit
It was saged and was trolled
And soon marked as 'old'
An OP threw a raging fit

You had a score of 90% correct on this test. Based on the results we have so far, the average person who takes this test scores 90% correct.

Your percentile score on this test was 50, meaning you scored higher than 50% of people who took this test

It took you an average of 0.44 seconds to respond to each item. The average person who takes this test takes an average of 1 seconds to respond to each item. This means you respond to each item a little faster than the average person who takes this test.

...so I'm a TINY bit different than the average person? Well isn't that a confidence booster.

I think he means that if you're complaining about lack of punctuation in Blood Meridian, then you're going to have a time with The Sound and the Fury.

I got the King for a dollar at a Library sale. I haven't read it yet, but I am hoping desperately for it to be some terrible an awkward high-fantasy tale.

Yeah, my shelf isn't the greatest in the world, but I love most of the books on it.

I have a soft spot for 60s and 70s sci-fi. Is that what you meant by the pulp comment?

What aspect of Crooked Little Vein are you looking for? The quirky detective-ish story, or the absolute absurdity of all the fetishes?

I'm sure you've already read it, but Ellis's Transmetropolitan is a good one for those who like Crooked Little Vein.

Frost is a popular poet to teach in High School.

I think OP is frustraighted, because he sees so many people liking Frost as a sign that people are exposing themselves to different poets, and are only saying Frost is their favorite because he was the best of what they were exposed to in High School.

Wallace Stevens all up in this bitch.
