So he says in his early books that Catholicism is the solution to the crisis of the modern West. He even goes as far to say that he knows that there are probably some traditional strains of Catholicism out there, but he simply did not encounter it IRL.
In fairness, he lived and wrote his books in a weird time of Catholicism and the 'traditional strain' did not become apparent until Vatican II with Marcel Lefebvre, after Guenon passed away.

You will want to start with Rama Coomaraswamy's book (picrel). The crucial part to understand is how and why normie Catholicism is not Traditional.
