When I get a girlfriend I'm gonna tell her to wear push up bras. I don't care if it's disingenuous, they look amazing

So you're like, 17? I would have guessed about 13 from your "poems".

Advice: read more poetry, act your age, be more interesting. I don't care about your pathetic teenage angst, you know fuck all about the world.

That's my brutal honesty.

Depends on what you mean by intelligent. I know a mathematician who I would say is pretty retarded in some respects

Start with Plato and Aristotle, and probably a good general knowledge of the main pre-Socratics.

Then honestly you can skip to Descartes.

Then Hume, then Kant. Then I would recommend Schopenhauer but I guess you could come back to him later.

From there you can go on to any of those guys you're interested in except maybe Derrida, but why would anyone want to read him anyway

Ivan's Childhood is entry-level Tarkovsky though. It's not really a good representation of his work. Mirror and Nostalghia are the final bosses

>A novel is by its very nature fictitious
cf: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonfiction_novel

>A novel is fallacious because it is always a work of rhetoric, persuasive argument. If it wasn't, it wouldn't be a novel; it would be a work of philosophy.
How does this make sense:
>if book == "persuasive argument", then book = novel
>else book = "work of philosophy"
You got yourself twisted

Anyway, who gives a fuck

I don't understand this sentiment. I saw that a lot of people tripped over here, so I started tripfagging myself. Now I see shit like this. What's the big fucking deal, other then "TRIPFAGS ARE SELF-CENTERED" or whatever else you read into my personality based on the fact I post online with a corny handle?
