these, and other scholarly works, show that religion appears to be the most effective of various factors of moral socialization. There is a lot in the mix and the differences can be small, but it does seem religion is best at passing on particular morals.

- The concept of VMS 'owning Mars' is brought up *and discounted* in the book
- The proof of extraterrestrial ife is that VMS was born on Mars and left alone there when all the other humans died when he was a few weeks old. As the father of 5 I can tell you - kids don't raise themselves.
