Sort of but not really. It "takes place" on Earth but it's more of an alternate reality type deal.

That one fucker. Last name is Lovegrove or something.
His books are:
Age of Aztec
Age of Odin
Age of Zeus
Age of Ra
They're all about if each of the respective gods did exist, like their entire pantheon, and how they each have their own nations and armies and fight each other, and there are rebel factions who fight against them and shit. I only ever read Age of Ra, though.

I finish every book I start. If it's a book that's unimportant enough to me that I'd stop reading it part-way through, it's not important enough for me to spend time reading in the first place.

Do you want "pleb" books or "bad" books? Not all "pleb" books are terrible, but all "bad" books are "pleb" books, usually.
A "pleb" fantasy series would I guess be that one Brent Weeks trilogy. Something about the NIght.
A "bad" fantasy series is Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series or Legend of the Seeker or whatever the series is called.

LOTR was written as a single book, his publisher said break it up into three, he broke it up into six and they just published them into three sets of two. Each book consists of two "books" that later become the separation between what the Fellowship is doing and what Frodo/Sam are doing.

I dropped my keys on my screen from a good distance and there's a tiny little scratch in the screen. The light hits the scratch/crack and lights it up, but it's not really that noticeable. It's really easy to ignore. Just don't drop anything on the screen. Or get the protection plan.

But what about teachers?

I had always been a heavy reader as a kid, and in middle school I started reading Stephen King. From him I wanted more scary stuff and was recommended Lovecraft at around 14. It snowballed from there.

I really love the way that "cunt" sounds, but I almost never use it in real life because it's too crass.

When I need music to listen to while reading, I usually just go for classical. Some of my favorites are:
Handel, Bach, and Tchaikovsky

It's one of my top three favorite books, and it cemented Gogol's place as one of my favorite authors, as well.

>being unaware that old people generally have good taste in things
Every time I go into a movie theater and it's mostly old people, I know I'm in for a good film.

Well, there's only so much merit to be found in science fiction/fantasy books to begin with.

I just use Open Office Libre or whatever it's called.
I use that one because it's free and it does what I need it to.

Fagles is a pretty good one, it's the typical one that people get. At least, in my experience.
