It is technically a novel. "Novel" only refers to word count. If a work has over 50,000 words, it's considered a novel.

1) /lit/ is not here to do your homework.
2) If you can't figure something like this out, you don't deserve access to a computer. Honestly-there are too many options in that novel to write a paper on humanity. Please get the fuck out of here.

I have a replica late Victorian couch at my house, with the perfect lighting. It's my favorite place to read. Otherwise, outside on a patio or somewhere with trees around while having a cigar.

Really? Nobody wants to talk realist philosophy? Surprising...

The world needs more philosophers like Huey-blunt realists. We lost a great one with George Carlin's death. The world is overrun by whiny idealists concerned with nothing more than happy feelings.

To be honest, that episode brought me to tears. It's not often you get to see Riley's soft side, and I think it speaks to the true meaning of the holidays: that no matter how "gangsta" or tough one is, we all have a soft side to us. It's a lot like the episode where Riley takes art lessons, and paints a mural of his parents on his granddad's house. Fucking baww'd, man.

On a totally unrelated note-what the hell happened to Stagolee? It is kind of nice to not see his ridiculous spam everywhere on /lit/.

I'm all for adaptation of language, but there are certain words we should leave alone, such as there/their/they're, because they are part of the basic foundation of the english language.

Problem, sir? Have I done something to piss you off?
>>1173174
There's evolution of language, and then there's poor use of there/their/they're, your/you're, etc.

How many /lit/erati feel the need to correct their friends' grammar, and punch those who spam the world with terrible misspelling and poor grammar?
The picture is incredibly related.

It only goes uphill from there. Also-the plotlines do come together. Keep reading, mate.

OP's book. Fucking phenomenal. Can't wait for parts two and three (rumored that it will be a trilogy). I highly recommend it as an excellent suspense thriller. Cronin's use of plot devices is spectacular, the narrative is easy to follow, and very intriguing, and he keeps the reader guessing until the last page. 12/10

Shakespeare's best play. Talk about how the "to be or not to be" soliloquy is an internal existential debate about the absurdity of life and whether or not it is authentic to commit suicide. You'll get an A.
