Can we just stop this? There are more important things in life. Such as reading. Here is something:

That is a bad attitude to have. Surely you can overcome it somehow.

I always thought sci fi and fantasy folks hung out in /co/ for some reason. /lit/ should be for everyone though

I just the RSVP bk90 throughout university. It is one of the greatest and most accessible pens to use for writing anything.

It is great if you want to get through a couple of books at the same time, I suppose if you are a power reader.

I just think this site is great.

I must endorse this website for it is so super:

http://www.dailylit.com/

It basically delivers a small passage of the book every day to your email daily until the book is finished. It is perfect for those people who want a structured plan for reading. I love it because you can set the time it is received to your email so I set it for my lunch period or just before bed.

I should rather be happy if it were to be added to the sticky and also if it helped anyone read more and more enjoyably.

Post your recommendations:

It is a pleasant song, a super film and an outstanding book. I cannot say it will suit the tastes of everyone because it is not excessively violent or science fiction-like but it is a well rounded story for everyone else.

The keyboard is not entirely useful unless you move up into the DX model I should think. My recommendation is go with the kindle tough for 99 dollars because it feels more natural than the base model.

This is very true. When I start writing I do it very hectically and care little for prose.

Unless you can consider a "lack of concern for prose" as a style of prose

That is very important too.

By the way, I use yarn to tie the characters together in the literal web but that might be a bit old fashioned.

I number the yarn and then write a basic plot and order of how they tie together.

It seems ridiculous relating this to others

It is all about the planning and your mindset going into the project.
Never start writing or thinking about writing unless you are in the proper mood to.
Two techniques i frequently use are: making a web of characters and also framing the story.

For a web you must write down every character on pieces of paper and arrange them in a circle. You can then tie all of them together and write in a basic theme of how they tie in.

To frame the story you just have to write out the summary of the chapter/section in extremely simple sentences and then fill out descriptive details in order of whatever you find to be more important.

So go from:

John enters the room
Johns sees the gun and Frank
John grabs the gun
John shoots Frank

Here is your frame. Just fill it out from there.
